Sanitation Associates

Nesco Resource is currently seeking dependable and hardworking Sanitation Associates for a food manufacturing facility in Greenville, SC.

This position is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and sanitary production environment while following food safety and sanitation guidelines.

Job Responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize food production equipment, machinery, and work areas.
• Wash and sanitize floors, walls, drains, and production surfaces.
• Disassemble and reassemble equipment for cleaning as trained and authorized.
• Use approved cleaning chemicals and sanitation equipment safely.
• Follow food safety, GMP, and company sanitation procedures.
• Remove trash and production waste.
• Maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Complete required sanitation checklists and documentation.
• Follow all workplace safety procedures.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

Job Requirements

• Previous sanitation, janitorial, food manufacturing, or industrial cleaning experience preferred.
• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift.
• Comfortable working in a food manufacturing environment.
• Ability to work around water, cleaning chemicals, and wet surfaces while using required PPE.
• Strong attention to detail and safety.
• Reliable attendance and transportation.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to follow food safety and sanitation requirements.
