Warehouse Associate

ADUSA Distribution is the distribution company of Ahold Delhaize USA, providing distribution services to one of the largest grocery retail supply chains in the nation. ADUSA Distribution receives, stores, manages inventory, and ships fresh and non-perishable product throughout the network of local brand stores. ADUSA Distribution facilities handle a mix of product types, including fresh, frozen, grocery and health and beauty care items. Our team is supporting the supply chain network evolution to an integrated self-distribution model of the future, serving leading omnichannel grocery brands - Food Lion, Giant Food, The GIANT Company, Hannaford and Stop & Shop.

POSITION SUMMARY

As a Warehouse Associate, you'll play a critical role in keeping products moving efficiently from our distribution center to stores-helping ensure customers get what they need, when they need it. This is more than just a warehouse role-it's an opportunity to build valuable skills, work in a fast-paced environment, and earn additional incentive pay for your performance.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

As part of our team, you'll be trusted with essential responsibilities that keep operations running smoothly and safely:

• Accurately pick, pack, and palletize grocery, produce, meat, dairy, and frozen food orders for shipment
• Perform shipping and receiving tasks that support daily warehouse operations
• Complete required documentation for shipments and inventory
• Safely operate equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts (training provided where applicable)
• Perform routine equipment checks to ensure safety and reliability
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Contribute ideas to improve efficiency, productivity, and cost savings

WHAT YOU'LL BRING

We're looking for motivated team players who are ready to roll up their sleeves and contribute:

• Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
• A team-oriented mindset with a proactive, self-starting attitude
• Basic computer skills for data entry and information lookup
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a warehouse or distribution setting is a plus
• Ability to lift up to 80 lbs on a repetitive basis
• Ability to work in a variety of environments, including but not limited to: dry and perishable grocery goods (including produce and meats), frozen foods, etc. Freezer associates work in very cold environments (-20F temperatures).

WHAT MAKES YOU STAND OUT

Experience operating powered industrial equipment (certification preferred)

Ability to meet productivity goals and standards

Comfortable working in a physically active role (lifting, standing, bending, and reaching throughout shifts)

Flexibility to work assigned schedules in a dynamic environment

Ability to read and understand product codes and labels
