Forklift Operator

As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely moving stock within the warehouse. This includes loading and unloading shipments, staging materials, and operating various types of powered industrial trucks (PIT), such as:

• Stand-up and sit-down forklifts
• Clamp trucks
• Electric pallet jacks
• Reach trucks

Key responsibilities include:

• Operating forklifts and other MHE (Material Handling Equipment) 80% of the shift
• Loading, unloading, moving, and staging products and materials
• Pulling and preparing products for shipment, ensuring accuracy
• Maintaining inventory records and assisting with cycle counts
• Performing daily equipment inspections and reporting issues
• Complying with OSHA and safety standards
• Maintaining a clean and organized workspace
• Assisting with physical inventories and other warehouse duties as needed

Qualifications include:

• Minimum 6 months of experience operating forklifts or MHE
• Experience with stand-up equipment and driving in reverse is preferred
• Familiarity with WMS systems (e.g., SAP, JDA, Blue Yonder) is a plus
• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to lift up to 35 lbs and work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
