It supports industries that require precision manufacturing and quality-focused production processes.Elwood Staffing associates are eligible for a comprehensive and competitive benefits package plus an exclusive savings program, including:Medical/Vision/Dental/Rx plansHoliday PayTeladoc (online care)Referral Bonus IncentiveWeekly Pay401kAnd More!Shipping and Receiving Clerk - 1st Details:Temp-to-Hire position$ 18.00 to $ 24.00 / hourFull Time work availableFirst Shift (Monday through Friday)Perform a variety of tasks related to shipping, receiving, and comprehensive inventory control.Receive incoming shipments, verify contents against purchase orders, and inspect materials for damage or discrepancies.Prepare outgoing shipments, including picking, packing, labeling, and staging products for transport.Accurately document all inbound and outbound materials, as well as inventory movements, using an Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system.Conduct regular inventory counts, assist with cycle counting, and investigate discrepancies to ensure inventory accuracy.Safely and efficiently operate a sit-down forklift and hand pallet jack to move, stack, and retrieve materials within the warehouse.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment, adhering to all company safety protocols and procedures.Shipping and Receiving Clerk - 1st Qualifications:Proven experience as a Shipping/Receiving Clerk or in a similar warehouse role with a focus on inventory control.Proficiency in inventory control processes and practices.Familiarity and practical experience with ERP systems for data entry and tracking.Demonstrated ability to operate a sit-down forklift.Competence in using hand pallet jacks for material handling.Strong attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and record-keeping.Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally and capable of standing for extended periods throughout the shift.Applicant may be subject to a background checkPre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment*A conviction record will not necessarily prevent you from being employed.
