We need someone who can take ownership, solve problems, communicate with drivers and customers, and keep things organized when the day gets busy.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Coordinate daily dispatch and transportation activitiesCommunicate with drivers, customers, and internal operationsMonitor loads, schedules, pickups and deliveriesHandle changes, delays and last-minute operational issuesKeep accurate records and update transportation systemsAssist with routing, scheduling and driver coordinationHelp ensure loads are moving efficiently and on timeSupport the Operations Manager with daily transportation needsIdentify problems before they become bigger problemsProvide general administrative and operational supportWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Transportation/logistics experience preferredPrevious dispatch or operations experience strongly preferredStrong communication and organizational skillsComfortable working with drivers and customersAbility to multitask in a fast-paced environmentStrong computer skills and ability to learn new TMS/softwareDetail-oriented and dependableSomeone who can think on their feet and make decisionsTHE RIGHT PERSON:You don't have to know everything on Day One.But you do need to understand transportation, have a sense of urgency, be organized, and be the person others can count on when something goes sideways.If you're the @type of person who looks at a problem and says "I'll figure it out," I want to talk to you.$60K–$70K depending on experienceGreenville, SC – ON-SITE#J-18808-Ljbffr
