Warehouse Associate Job Summary We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Warehouse Associate to join our Warehouse Department. This role is responsible for safely and accurately receiving, storing, picking, and moving inventory while maintaining excellent inventory accuracy and meeting daily operational goals.The ideal candidate is a motivated team player with experience of operating material handling equipment, strong attention to detail, and a commitment to workplace safety and efficiency. This position reports directly to the Warehouse Manager.Responsibilities Safely operate various types of material handling equipment, including narrow aisle reach trucks and stand-up lifts, to pick orders and put away inventoryMaintain accurate inventory levels through proper handling, storage, and documentation of materialsPerform daily cycle counts and assist with inventory control activitiesPick, stage, and prepare customer orders for shipment according to company standardsReceive, inspect, and properly store incoming inventoryFollow all safety policies, procedures, and OSHA requirements to maintain a safe work environmentComplete required training, certifications, and equipment assessmentsUtilize warehouse management systems (WMS) and shipping software to complete daily tasksWork collaboratively with warehouse team members to meet productivity and accuracy goalsPerform additional warehouse duties and responsibilities as assignedQualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; college coursework or degree preferred3–5 years of warehouse experience operating material handling equipment preferredExperience operating narrow aisle reach trucks, stand-up lifts, forklifts, or similar warehouse equipment strongly preferredExperience with warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control processes preferredKnowledge of distribution operations, including receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping processesProficiency with Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and shipping software applicationsStrong math, problem-solving, and analytical skillsExcellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environmentStrong attendance record and reliable work historyKey Skills & Competencies High integrity and strong work ethicsSafety-focused mindsetSelf-motivated with the ability to identify and resolve issues proactivelyAbility to work independently and as part of a teamStrong organizational and time-management skillsAbility to prioritize tasks and meet deadlinesPhysical Requirements & Work Environment Work performed in a warehouse environment with extended periods of standing, walking, and operating equipmentAbility to safely work in varying warehouse conditions, including exposure to hot and cold temperatures depending on seasonal conditions and operational areasAbility to lift, carry, push, and move materials weighing up to 100 poundsAbility to safely operate warehouse equipment for extended periodsMust be able to follow safety procedures and maintain awareness of surroundingsWhy Join Our Team?
