Shipping Associate 1st Shift / Mon Wed / 7:00am 3:30pm Starting Pay: $16.00 /per hr Piedmont, SC Area Full-Time / Temporary Assignment (2-Month Duration)

PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a dependable, physically strong, and safety-focused Shipping Associate for a leading manufacturing customer in the Piedmont, SC area. In this active warehouse role, your primary focus will be hands-on packaging, palletizing, and securing finished goods for transport, supplemented by light forklift operation (approx. 15% of duties) to stage materials and move pallets across the shipping dock.

Shipping Associate Primary Responsibilities include:

• Packaging & Palletizing: Safely package finished goods, load items onto pallets, wrap, and strap down loads securely for transport.
• Material Tracking: Accurately track, record, and log units and materials handled during shift operations.
• Forklift Operations (15%): Safely operate a forklift as needed to transport staged pallets, move materials across the dock, and assist with loading.
• Safety & Compliance: Adhere strictly to all facility safety policies, PPE guidelines, and standard operating procedures.
• Dock Maintenance: Keep shipping areas, staging bays, and packing stations clean, clear, and well-organized.

Shipping Associate Requirements include:

• Physical Capabilities: Heavy physical workload capabilitymust be able to lift up to 30 lbs. consistently, up to 50 lbs. unassisted, and up to 75 lbs. with team assistance.
• Forklift & Shipping Experience: Prior familiarity with shipping/receiving procedures and basic forklift operating experience (required for ~15% of the role).
• Work Environment Adaptability: Comfortable working in a warm/hot manufacturing and warehouse environment.
• Assignment Commitment: Full availability to commit to a 2-month temporary assignment working Monday through Wednesday.
• Reliability & Ethics: Dependable transportation, a strong work ethic, and an outstanding record of punctuality and attendance (attendance is critical).
