Quality Technician - Greenville, SC

Two positions available - interviews being scheduled now. $21.00-$27.50 per hour. 1st shift: Monday-Thursday 7:00 AM-4:00 PM | Friday 7:00 AM-1:00 PM. Or 2nd shift: Monday-Thursday 12:00 PM-8:30 PM | Friday 12:00 PM-6:00 PM. Paid lunch.

We are currently recruiting for two Quality Technicians to join a well-established precision manufacturing operation in Greenville, SC. With two positions available, this is an excellent opportunity for experienced Quality Technicians or Quality Inspectors with a strong background inspecting CNC machined components and working to tight tolerances.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Perform incoming, in-process, and final inspections on precision-machined components
  • Inspect turned, milled, and drilled parts to tight tolerances
  • Perform visual, dimensional, and process inspections
  • Use calipers, micrometers, gauge pins, borescopes, optical comparators, and other precision measuring equipment
  • Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and job travelers
  • Identify nonconforming products and issue NCRs (Nonconformance Reports)
  • Conduct or support Nondestructive Testing (NDT) when required
  • Record inspection results within the manufacturing system
  • Generate Certificates of Conformance (CoCs)
  • Maintain calibration records and apply calibration stickers to measurement equipment
  • Work closely with machinists and production teams to communicate quality issues and support corrective actions

What We're Looking For

  • High school diploma or GED
  • 6-9 years of experience inspecting machined parts, including turning, milling, and drilling
  • Strong dimensional inspection skills
  • Experience working with tight tolerances
  • Strong blueprint and engineering drawing interpretation skills
  • Experience with inspection documentation and electronic recordkeeping
  • ASQ Certified Quality Technician (CQT) certification is a major plus
  • NDT experience is advantageous
