Dispatcher / Operations Assistant – Greenville, SCGreenville, SC | ON-SITE $60,000–$70,000 DOEAre you an experienced Dispatcher, Operations Coordinator, or Transportation Operations professional who knows how to keep trucks, drivers, customers, and schedules moving?I'm recruiting for a Dispatcher / Operations Assistant who will play an important role in the day-to-day operation.This is NOT just a phone-answering or data-entry position. We need someone who can take ownership, solve problems, communicate with drivers and customers, and keep things organized when the day gets busy.WHAT YOU'LL DO:Coordinate daily dispatch and transportation activitiesCommunicate with drivers, customers, and internal operationsMonitor loads, schedules, pickups and deliveriesHandle changes, delays and last-minute operational issuesKeep accurate records and update transportation systemsAssist with routing, scheduling and driver coordinationHelp ensure loads are moving efficiently and on timeSupport the Operations Manager with daily transportation needsIdentify problems before they become bigger problemsProvide general administrative and operational supportWHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR:Transportation/logistics experience preferred Previous dispatch or operations experience strongly preferred Strong communication and organizational skills Comfortable working with drivers and customers Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment Strong computer skills and ability to learn new TMS/software Detail-oriented and dependable Someone who can think on their feet and make decisionsTHE RIGHT PERSON:You don't have to know everything on Day One.
