Description:

Our client, a manufacturing and aerospace technology company, is seeking a Materials Lab Technician (Metallography) to join their team. As a Materials Lab Technician (Metallography), you will be part of the Metallography Laboratory supporting the materials analysis and inspection team. The ideal candidate will have the ability to work independently, effective communication skills, and a willingness to learn and grow which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Materials Lab Technician (Metallography)
Location: Greer, South Carolina
Pay Range: $24.91/hr
Shift: 2nd shift


What's the Job?

  • Perform metallography activities using SEM, Keyence, and optical microscopes.
  • Conduct metallographic analysis on 2nd shift.
  • Perform a variety of laboratory and inspection-related tasks.
  • Plan and accomplish assigned work using experience and judgment.
  • Work under general supervision while supporting laboratory operations.

What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-4 years of related experience.
  • Ability to work independently.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Basic computer skills.
