Production Operator - 2nd Shift

Pay: $20.00-$21.00 per hour

Shift: 2nd Shift, 2:00 PM-10:30 PM

Job Description

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Production Operator to join our growing manufacturing team on 2nd shift. The Production Operator will work closely with the Production Lead to support daily manufacturing operations, maintain product quality, and help ensure customer delivery deadlines are met.

The ideal candidate has at least two years of manufacturing or production experience, is comfortable using hand tools and measuring equipment, and takes pride in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized work environment.

Responsibilities

• Follow all company policies, procedures, and safety requirements
• Perform daily production tasks to meet established output goals and deadlines
• Inspect products to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications
• Maintain a strong focus on workplace safety and compliance
• Communicate effectively with the Production Lead and other team members
• Work as part of a team to support daily manufacturing operations
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area using 5S/housekeeping practices
• Properly use hand tools, measuring equipment, and basic shop equipment
• Support continuous improvement and production efficiency efforts

Qualifications

• Ability to obtain a U.S. Secret Security Clearance required
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in manufacturing, production, or quality processes
• Experience with waterjet cutting, laser cutting, or fabrication preferred
• Ability to accurately use measuring tools such as tape measures and calipers
• Comfortable using hand tools and basic shop equipment
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
• Previous experience in the defense or military industry is a plus
