This position will independently perform a variety of secretarial or administrative duties involved in the operation of the Outpatient unit of GGMHC. This position requires the ability to plan, organize, develop and implement procedures to maintain daily schedules. Responsibilities for the Administrative Assistant include:
A high school diploma and one (1) year of clerical experience, or an associate degree in secretarial science or a related field; or two (2) years of clerical experience. Additional Requirements: Position is considered essential and may be called back during crisis/disasters/emergencies.
Bilingual abilities in English and Spanish (or another language) are a plus.
Post hire, employees must have: General knowledge of office practices/procedures. The ability to deal effectively with the public in disseminating and obtaining information. Considerable knowledge of grammatical rules, spelling, language usage and clerical formats.
