Forklift Operator/ Material Handling (3rd shift, 11pm - 7:30am)Support production control activities related to successful manufacturing operations, while following policies and procedures.Essential Duties and Accountability:Responsible for verifying labels on containers and matching the description on packing slipsSupport new Mazda J34a, possibly as a water spiderSupport shipping and receiving systemsInspect shipments, load and unload trucksMaintain the flow of materials to all areas of manufacturing efficiently while working in a team environmentOther duties as assigned by managementSupervisory Responsibilities: NoneJob Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Forklift, walkie stacker and tugger experience is preferredAble to frequently liftKnowledge of shipping and receiving systemsPrior material handling experience and knowledgeFlexible working hours, ability to work overtime (which may include weekends and holidays) as needed per business needProficient English communication skillsDemonstrated ability to understand and follow standard work, work within a team and support company policies, including but not limited to regular and punctual attendance, safety and ergonomicsAbility to learn, operate and maintain various equipment at an acceptable level with emphasis on quality (IATF 16949 standard), safety and environment (ISO 140001 and 45001), 5S and productivityEducation and Experience: High School Diploma or GED equivalentWork Environment/Physical Demands:Work shift as assigned and overtime is required, as neededWill be required to do the following throughout the shift: standing, bending, pushing, pulling, reaching above and below shoulders, moving left to right repetitively, grasping, and fine finger dexterityMay be required to lift during shift up to 40 lbs.Specific vision abilities required with this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focusThe performance of this position requires exposure to manufacturing areas which require personal protective equipment such as steel toed shoes, safety glasses with side shields
