Job Description As a Security Officer Armed - Entrance Access in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Security Professional supporting an aerospace and defense location. You will monitor access points, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide professional communication and customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and vendors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access control points and verify credentials for authorized personnel, visitors, deliveries, and vehicles in accordance with site requirements.
• Complete detailed incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Have at least 3 years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
