JOB DESCRIPTION

Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Material Cutter in Simpsonville. Our client Manufactures High Quality Lifting Slings. The Material Cutter is responsible for cutting and staging fabric for sewing operations.
Monday - Friday
6:00am - 2:30pm

Responsibilities of a Material Cutter includes:
Follow all safety procedures including the wearing of all required personal protective equipment
• Effectively and safely operate and maintain the assigned cutting tools and all related equipment to ensure all daily orders are met• Read and follow standard production orders • Follow all standard work processes• Verify proper components before beginning a job • Monitor product and process to ensure quality standards are met or exceeded • Complete all required paperwork and documentation accurately and legibly • Maintain reliable attendance including overtime if needed • Maintain a clean work environment • Follow established procedures, policies and practices to produce safe quality products that meet industry and company standards • Support the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of company systems and processes
Job Requirements of a Material Cutter:

• Must be able to read a tape measure along with basic math skills
• Effective written communication skills, including legibility
• Must have a strong attention to detail• Must be self-motivated

REQUIRED Experience and Education:
High School Diploma or GED equivalent
