Heavy Equipment MechanicLocation: Simpsonville, SC Salary: $35–$45/hour Shift: Full-time, Day ShiftAbout the RoleWe are looking for an experienced Heavy Equipment Mechanic to join our team. You will be diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a wide range of heavy construction and earthmoving equipment in a shop environment.Key ResponsibilitiesDiagnose and repair mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on equipment including:Excavators (CAT, Komatsu, Volvo, Hitachi, John Deere, Link-Belt)Dozers and track loaders (CAT, Komatsu, John Deere)Wheel loaders and skid steersMotor gradersArticulated and rigid dump trucksCompactors and paversBackhoes and telehandlersScrapers and pipe layersPerform preventive maintenance (oil, filters, fluids, belts, hoses)Read and interpret service manuals and electrical schematicsDocument repairs and parts usage accuratelyRequirements3–5 years of heavy equipment repair experienceStrong diesel, hydraulic, and electrical systems knowledgeOEM dealership experience preferred (CAT, John Deere, Komatsu, Volvo, CASE, Hitachi, etc.)High school diploma or technical certificateBenefitsCompetitive pay + full benefits packageMedical, dental, and vision401(k) with employer matchPaid holidays and PTOPaid training and development
