Job Description As a Security Officer Armed Response in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. At a high-profile aerospace and defense location, you will serve as an Armed Security Officer, conducting routine patrols, supporting access control, helping to deter incidents, and providing professional customer service. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour Job Schedule: Day Time Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sat 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM Sun 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, access points, parking areas, and perimeter locations, documenting observations and irregular conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials, and report unauthorized activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, using authorized equipment and escalating concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license.
• Have at least three years of security-related, law enforcement, military police, or military experience.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
