Direct materials being anything that is used in production at internal and external facilities. Indirect materials being anything required for MRO, lab supplies and services, engineering, warehouse, and office supplies.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities:
Education And/Or Experience: Bachelors' degree in a business or management or equivalent 5+ years of related work experience. Proven work experience as a sourcing leader and/or similar procurement positions. Proven experience in RFQ creation, strong negotiation skills, and supplier management.
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities: Understanding of market dynamics and how to find new suppliers. Comfortable collecting, analyzing, interpreting, and presenting data. Solid judgement with ability to make good decisions that will enhance business results. Proven work experience. Strong verbal and written communication skills required. Microsoft Office Suite is required. SAP experience preferred. Pharmaceutical industry preferred. Domestic travel may be required, as needed.
