Warehouse Associate (Sheet Metal) - Job Description

Schedule

• Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM
• 30-minute lunch
• Overtime as needed

Pay & Employment Type

• Starting Pay: $16.00/hour
• Temp-to-Hire opportunity based on performance and attendance

Summary

We are seeking a reliable Warehouse Associate to support daily operations in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. This role involves handling sheet metal materials, assisting with loading and unloading, and maintaining organization within the warehouse.

Warehouse associates typically handle receiving, storing, and moving materials while supporting production and shipping processes in a physically demanding environment.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload sheet metal materials from trucks and work areas
• Move, stage, and organize materials within the warehouse
• Assist with shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks
• Prepare materials for production or shipment
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow all safety procedures and work instructions
• Support general warehouse and production operations as needed

Requirements

• Ability to lift heavy materials consistently (50+ lbs)
• Comfortable working with sheet metal and industrial materials
• Ability to stand, bend, and move throughout the shift
• Strong attention to safety and detail
• Previous warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred

Heavy lifting and physical activity are common in warehouse roles, often requiring frequent lifting, standing, and material movement throughout the shift.
