Security Officer Full Time - Site Monitor

As a Security Officer Full Time - Site Monitor in Greenville, SC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist employees, visitors, and vendors with exceptional customer service. Using clear communication and a caring, team-oriented approach, you will help create a welcoming environment while representing Allied Universal's values of agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Thur 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, delivery drivers, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying site contacts and/or emergency services as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the surrounding perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or hazards.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying visitor, vendor, and delivery credentials according to site-specific procedures and maintaining accurate activity logs.
• Assist with monitoring shipments, trailer activity, and employee traffic in accordance with established security-related procedures, reporting discrepancies to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
