Experienced Press Brake Operator

Do you have two years or more of proven experience operating CNC press brakes or similar metal fabrication equipment? Do you have a strong background in metal fabrication and the ability to read complex blueprints? Can you set up and operate CNC press brakes to produce parts that meet exact customer specifications? PrideStaff - Greenville is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Press Brake Operator on behalf of our client in the Haywood Road area of Greenville. As a Press Brake Operator, you will be responsible for transforming raw metal into precision-engineered parts. The right candidate must be committed to technical accuracy, machine maintenance, and maintaining a safe, organized work environment.

Press Brake Operator primary responsibilities include:

• Machine operation: expertly set up and operate CNC press brakes, shears, and other specialized metal bending and shaping machines.
• Blueprint interpretation: read and interpret blueprints, process sheets, and technical drawings to determine correct machine settings and material requirements.
• Quality inspection: perform continuous quality checks using precision tools, such as tape measures and calipers, to ensure every part meets customer specifications.
• Material handling: manage materials efficiently through the bending process to minimize waste and maximize production flow.
• Safety & organization: maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to 5S initiatives and all company safety protocols.
• Troubleshooting: monitor machine performance and make necessary adjustments to ensure consistent output and prevent equipment downtime.

Press Brake Operator desired skills and experience include:

• Two years or more of proven experience operating CNC press brakes or similar metal fabrication equipment.
• Strong ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Proficiency with precision measuring tools and a high degree of mathematical aptitude.
• Commitment to safety: active participation in maintaining a safe workspace and following 5S standards.
• Detail oriented: must have the ability to catch minute discrepancies during the inspection process.
• Physical capability: ability to stand for the duration of the shift and lift/move metal components as required.
• Reliability: a consistent work history with a strong track record of punctuality and attendance.

Compensation / Pay Rate (Up to): $24.00 - $26.00 Per Hour
