Finisher / Packaging Operator
1st shift / Mon - Fri / 8am - 4:30pm
$19/hour
Greenville / Mauldin Area

PrideStaff Greenville is seeking an experienced and detailed a Finishing / Packaging operator on behalf of our client in the Greenville / Mauldin, SC area.

The Finisher/Packaging Operator will perform a wide variety of work/task with other finishers to ensure daily job orders are fulfilled. The finisher will ensure all pieces of the order are finished, marked, meet the quality control standards and then packaged.

Our client has a full complement of large format roll and flatbed digital printers.

Finishing equipment you may operate includes: laminators, automatic and hand grommet machines, hemming machine, floor finishers and RF Welder.

Finisher / Packaging Operator Responsibilities include:

• Become an expert at finishing a wide variety of printed materials using all finishing equipment (Miller, Grommet machine, laminator, floor Leister, install snaps, sewing etc)
• Properly verify, document count and quality control on work order.
• Comply with safety requirements when lifting, or using power equipment
• Help load material on printers as needed
• Self-starter, team player and a willingness to learn
• Demonstrate the ability and willingness to take direction from superiors
• Ability and enthusiasm to seek suggestions and assistance from peers
• Maintain clean working areas at all times including sweeping and trash removal

Finisher / Packaging Operator Requirements include:

• Experience in a time sensitive production environment with the proven ability to meet strict deadlines
• Solid time management, organization, and attention to detail
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Does not require constant supervision and is eager to contribute to the company
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Sewing Machine experience is a PLUS!!
