Inventory Control Clerk - 1st Details:

  • Temp-to-Hire position
  • $ 20.00 / hour
  • Full Time work available
  • First Shift (Monday through Thursday from 07:30am to 05:30pm)
  • Verify, maintain, and accurately document all incoming and outgoing shipments.
  • Pull and stage finished goods for shipment as directed.
  • Ensure outgoing containers are properly labeled with correct information and shipping instructions.
  • Examine containers to confirm adherence to required specifications.
  • Post weights, calculate shipping charges, and affix applicable postage.
  • Count, measure, and weigh shipments, documenting any discrepancies.
  • Safely operate mechanical lifts to load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
  • Assist with the loading and unloading of bulk tankers.
  • Perform daily pre-operation inspections on forklift equipment.
  • Accurately interpret staging tickets to pull and prepare materials for production.
  • Perform cycle counts using barcode scanning tools within the ERP system.
  • Identify and report basic housekeeping and safety issues in material storage areas.

Inventory Control Clerk - 1st Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Inventory Control Clerk with strong communication skills.
  • Familiarity with shipping processes, including export and import procedures.
  • Proficiency in 10-key data entry by touch and general data entry skills.
  • Ability to operate mechanical lifts (or willingness to be trained/certified).
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented warehouse environment, performing physical tasks as required.
