Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator

Join our team as a Machinist for the Multi-Spindle Screw Machine Operator position in Greenville, SC. This role involves overseeing the operation of automatic screw machines in a dynamic manufacturing setting. Your main duties will include producing precise machined components, ensuring quality standards are maintained, and facilitating seamless machine operation throughout various shifts.

Responsibilities

• Set up, run, and supervise multi-spindle automatic screw machines for consistent performance
• Manufacture parts to meet specifications, dimensions, and quality requirements
• Conduct inspections and measurements using precision tools to verify compliance
• Adjust machine parameters to ensure quality and productivity standards are met
• Maintain, sharpen, and replace tooling, as well as monitor bar stock levels
• Troubleshoot and resolve machine problems to minimize downtime
• Accurately complete production and quality records
• Keep work area clean, safe, and organized according to safety guidelines
• Effectively communicate with team members and supervisors during shift changes

Requirements

• Previous experience with multi-spindle automatic screw machines
• Ability to interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specs
• Proficiency in using precision measurement tools
• Basic mechanical aptitude and machining knowledge
• High school diploma or equivalent education required
• Capability to work independently and manage multiple machines simultaneously

Shift

• Day and night shift options with a night shift differential

Compensation

• $25–$27/hr, dependent on experience, plus night shift differential
