We are hiring for stand up forklift drivers in Simpsonville!

Our client is a family-owned wholesale distribution company headquartered in Simpsonville, South Carolina, and has been serving the heating and outdoor living industry since 1978. The organization specializes in supplying hearth products, grills, outdoor room equipment, heating systems, tankless water-heating solutions, and related gas equipment to dealers and industry professionals throughout the eastern United States.

Shipping Department - 1st Details:

• Temp-to-Hire position
• $ 20.00 / hour
• Full Time work available
• First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm)

M-F 8 AM to 5 PM

• Operate a reach truck for most of the shift
• Put away product to locations
• Pick orders with the use of an RF scan gun when needed
• Stage product accurately and efficiently
• Check merchandise in the storage area by verifying lot and item numbers
• Pull orders according to the order form and recheck them to ensure accuracy
• Inspect items for quality and quantity

Shipping Department - 1st Qualifications:

• Must have 2 years of stable work history operating a standup/reach truck forklift
• Must be a team player
• Must have the ability to read labels
• Must be able to safely operate lift in narrow aisles
• Must have the ability to lift 25-50 lbs. throughout the shift

• Applicant may be subject to a background check
• Pre-employment drug screen is required as a condition of employment
