Job Description

Job Description

Company Description We're First Class Heating & Air, an HVAC company in Greenville owned by two guys who are still very much in the business, in the field, on the phones, on the jobs. We have 20+ years combined in the trade, started the company in July 2024, and it's growing faster than the current crew can keep up with. That's where you come in.

Role Description Full system installs in existing homes and light commercial buildings: heat pumps, AC and furnace splits, mini-splits, and package units, plus the ductwork that goes with them. A lot of what we install is variable-speed and communicating equipment, so you need to be comfortable with the setup and commissioning side, dialing in airflow and charge, and making the controls actually talk to each other. We don't do new-construction tract work. Every job is a real customer's house, and the install has to hold up.

Qualifications

  • 3+ years installing residential HVAC (heat pumps, gas furnaces, mini-splits, package units)
  • Experience with variable-speed and inverter equipment, or the drive to get good at it fast
  • Strong troubleshooting abilities to identify and resolve issues with HVAC and generator systems during installation and start-up.
  • Work you'd put your name on: sealed ducts, clean linesets, level pads, a jobsite left cleaner than you found it
  • Good with homeowners. You'll be in their house all day, and how you treat them matters as much as the install itself.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance, ensuring systems are set up and serviced to reduce downtime and extend equipment life.
  • Commitment to safety practices, including adherence to local codes, company policies, and use of proper personal protective equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to work on ladders and in varying weather conditions.
