- Replace gaskets, controls, valves, sensors, motors, and other mechanical/electrical components

- Install and commission low-emissions burners and boiler upgrades

- Retrofit and troubleshoot boiler control systems, including PLCs, microprocessors, and instrumentation

- Adjust and optimize combustion and fuel-air systems to ensure safe and efficient operation

- Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, P&IDs, and technical manuals

They value experience gained through military occupational specialties (MOS/AFSC/Rating), especially in:

- Electro-mechanical systems maintenance

- Power generation, utilities, shipboard or base systems

- HVAC, propulsion, hydraulics, pneumatics, or industrial controls

- Electrical troubleshooting (AC/DC, motors, sensors, controls)

- PLCs, instrumentation, automation, or control panels

- Preventive maintenance programs and technical inspections

- Safety-driven environments with strict procedures and documentation

- Safely apply Lockout/Tagout (LOTO), system isolation, draining, filling, and startup procedures

- Document work performed, parts required, and system conditions using electronic reporting tools

- Communicate professionally with customers, supervisors, and team members

- Travel to customer sites using a company-provided vehicle (materials and tools supplied)

Requirements:

- 3+ years of boiler, industrial equipment, or related mechanical/electrical maintenance experience

(Military experience considered equivalent)

- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting skills in an industrial environment

Experience with:

- Lubrication, pneumatics, piping/plumbing repair

- HVAC fundamentals and belt replacement

- Electrical schematics and control systems

- Ability to follow written procedures, safety rules, and technical manuals

- Strong verbal, written, and electronic communication skills

- Comfortable using technology, tablets, and software (Microsoft Office or similar)

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in non-climate-controlled environments

- Valid Driver's License and clean driving record

- OSHA safety training requirements / 10-panel drug screen
