Primary PurposeThe Supervisor, Distribution Operations provides leadership for the assigned department, ensuring a safe and engaged team at all times. This role is responsible for meeting operational and team objectives, ensuring safety, quality and production standards are met. Handles all daily issues and projects under the direction of the Operations Manager. Works with all Distribution Center Departments, Transportation, and Inventory Management to ensure the timely movement of product.Duties and ResponsibilitiesMaintain a safe and positive work environment ensuring associates are treated fairly and consistently. Actions support a "Safety First" culture and ensure safe practices are employed, minimizing unsafe events and ensuring compliance with all regulations.Supervises day to day activities of department and assigned team.Provides direct oversight for warehouse associates. Manages team performance via coaching, feedback, and disciplinary efforts.Proactively partners with all applicable departments to ensure efficient and accurate flow of inventory in and out of distribution center, meeting commitments to retail.Monitors department staffing and adjusts as needed.
