Job SummaryTransports medical supplies, mail, lab specimens, medical records, and linen between Prisma Health facilities in a timely manner.Essential FunctionsAll team members are expected to be knowledgeable and compliant with Prisma Health's purpose: Inspire health. Serve with compassion. Be the difference.Operates the courier vehicle/truck in accordance with written policies/procedures and state and local laws. Transports all materials between facilities in a timely manner as scheduled.Follows chain of custody procedures and maintains confidentiality of sensitive information.Utilizes tracking technology and acquires necessary signatures upon delivery.Handles all materials with appropriate care, including temperature‑sensitive items.In coordination with management, adjusts schedule to accommodate rush orders and other priorities.Responsible for routine maintenance of vehicles including gas, oil, air, etc. Reports service and repair requirements to Supervisor.Loads and unloads material transported and delivers to designated areas.Performs other duties as assigned.Supervisory/Management ResponsibilitiesThis is a non‑management job that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive.Minimum RequirementsEducation - High School diploma or equivalent or post‑high school diploma / highest degree earned.Experience - No experience required.Required Certifications, Registrations, LicensesValid Driver's License and an acceptable motor vehicle record as defined by the Acceptable Motor Vehicle Record (MVR) chart.Knowledge, Skills And AbilitiesAbility to work in a busy, high‑pressure environment.Ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders including coworkers, management, and clinical partners.Demonstrated proficiency in English, both written and verbal, including active listening.Demonstrated proficiency in customer service and problem solving.Work ShiftDay (United States of America)LocationMaterials Distribution CenterFacility7001 CorporateDepartment70019042 Supply Chain Couriers & Asset Management - Upstate#J-18808-Ljbffr
