Summary:
Position: Extended Day Program Worker or High School Helper
Terms of Employment: Hourly Position
26-27 Rate of Pay:
Reports to: Extended Day Program Director
Qualifications
• High School Graduate preferred
• Experience working with children preferred
• High school workers are to be age 16 or older
• A resume is required to be submitted when applying to this position
Responsibilities:
Essential job functions:
• Facilitate planned activities as determined by the site director
• Help in distributing snacks, supplies, etc.
• Assist the EDP director with providing all daily services and reports
• Supervise children constantly, never leaving them unattended
• Assist in homework supervision
• Refer serious discipline problems to the site director
• Attend all staff meetings and training sessions
• Arrive promptly and remain for the specified time
• Complete clerical tasks assigned by director
• Plan and implement program activities
High school helpers cannot supervise children alone at any time.

Rate of Pay:
• EDP Worker - $16.33 per hour
• EDP Assistant (High School Student) - $10.81 per hour
