Description:

Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesUtilize PLEX and mobile scanners to accurately maintain inventory and complete ordersKnowledge and implementation of SQF, GMP's, SOP's, and HACCP, and other food process sanitation requirementsSupervise the activities, productivity and accuracy of all shipping clerksCoordinate daily shipments for pick‑up and delivery utilizing Appointment Plus softwareEstablish and coordinate schedule with carrierEnsure products are pulled and prepared for shipment, ensuring that the exact number and type of product is loaded and shipped.Create freight POs for carriersMaintain records of inventory at off‑site storage warehouseCreates and maintains daily inventory reportCompletes documentation such as pick lists, bills of lading, work orders and shipping orders using computer‑based technologyMaintain the facility's equipment and materials in a neat, clean, and orderly fashion.Assist in physical inventories. Ensure proper stock rotation.Ensure proper location scanning of all products in the freezer to maximize efficiency, ensure proper control of inventory and eliminate inventory adjustmentsProvide outstanding customer service to our partnersTrack all in‑bound and out‑bound shipments for on‑time deliveryReport and quantity or quality variances to Shipping Manager.Ensure full rotation of products to insure first in, first outOther Responsibilities and Skills NeededBi‑lingual preferred but not requiredTeamwork - Contributes to building a positive team spirit; puts success of team above own interests; supports everyone's efforts to succeed; maintains a positive attitude; generates ideas and suggestions that improve the team's performance, the efficiency of the process or the quality of the productsDecision‑making – Able to handle problems and think through to solutions.
