Job description: Our client, an international electrical equipment manufacturer specializing in power distribution, is seeking a *Lead Electrical Engineer (PE)* to join their team in *Greenville, SC*.*
**Key Responsibilities***
*
* *Review and analyze customer specifications, RFQs, and technical documents for compliance with high-voltage cicuit breakers*
* *Ensure compliance with industry standards (IEEE, ANSI, IEC) and identify deviations or exceptions*
* *Recommend product configurations and technical solutions to meet customer requirements*
* *Review and markup electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings*
* *Support technical discussions during sales and bidding processes*
* *Collaborate with sales, engineering, and production to resolve technical issues and ensure project execution*
* *Support product development, testing, and certification (incl. third-party labs such as CESI/KEMA)*
* *Drive continuous improvement in compliance processes and documentation
*
* Qualifications: *
* *Bachelors degree in Electrical Engineering (PE license)*
* *5+ years of experience in power systems or switchgear industry*
* *Strong knowledge of electrical transmission, distribution, and substation equipment*
* *Experience reviewing technical specifications and identifying compliance issues*
* *Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and control drawings*
* *Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills*
* *Preferred: experience with vacuum circuit breakers (38kV145kV), testing/validation, and AutoCAD Electrical*
