Functions include:
Troubleshoot and improve manufacturing and production issues while adhering to plant safety requirements
Lead Six Sigma related projects to improve systems and processes
Support the development of new technology and related capital projects to drive strategic growth initiatives
Develop best practices and oversee the MOC
Ensure compliance with OSHA, PSM and EPA regulations.
Provide technical support to operations and provide solutions to improve yields, quality and costs.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering required
5+ years of experience in a chemical manufacturing environment (or closely related). Should have experience with reaction chemistry and distillation. Should possess advanced technical skills and be well versed in Continuous Improvement methodology (Six Sigma certification desired) with track record of executing Continuouos Improvement related projects utilizing DMAIC methods.
Must have experience as a process engineer with strong process troubleshooting skills. Must be authorized to work in the US without sponsorship.
