Position: Department Lead

Location: Greer, SC

Pay: $23/hour

Experience: Must be able to operate a reach truck and forklift.

Type: Full-time; Contract

Schedule: Wednesday – Friday, 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM

Logic Staffing is seeking a Department Lead! Join a dynamic 3PL team that handles a wide variety of freight, including automotive parts, industrial goods, and mixed cargo. Job Description:

1. Train all new associates on work processes and equipment, ensuring processes are followed and understood.
2. Give workers detailed feedback on their performance level, especially when they are not performing up to company expectations, with the help of management.
3. Be able to assess work performance and productivity to alert to any changes that will affect daily output (meet productivity needs for BMW).
4. Constantly inspect all work equipment to identify shortages and damages and relate findings to management for quick resolution to enable the smooth flow of operations.
5. Check all outgoing stocks to ensure that they are in good condition and make sure that all documents are accurately signed for proper documentation.
6. Ensure that stock inventory is carried out in a timely manner and that it is in line with the stock balance to avoid mix-up.
7. Adhere to company policies and consult with management when needed on any issues that arise with other associates.

Position Requirements:

1. Strong computer skills.
2. Attention to detail to help manage the large volume of paperwork involved.
3. Must also be able to operate a reach truck and forklift.
4. Must be 18 years old and legally eligible to work in the United States.
5. Must have reliable transportation.
6. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
7. Must be able to stand for 8–10 hours a day.
