Production Line Supplier Pre-Sign-Off Engineer

Rate: ***/hr -***/hr Experience: 35 years in manufacturing engineering or supplier quality roles.

Role Purpose: Ensure supplier deliverables are validated, open points are tracked to closure, and production line readiness is achieved before formal sign-off.

Key Responsibilities:

• Track and resolve open points with the production line supplier.
• Perform pre-sign-off activities aligned with customer acceptance criteria.
• Conduct line balancing studies to validate throughput and efficiency.
• Coordinate with supplier teams to ensure compliance with project milestones.
• Document readiness status and report to customer leadership.
• Support escalation management for supplier delays or quality issues.

Required Skills:

• Strong expertise in line balancing and supplier management.
• Ability to interpret and apply acceptance checklists and KPIs.
• Effective communication and negotiation skills with suppliers.
• Experience in production line commissioning or PPAP readiness preferred.

Resource Requirement: 2 Engineers (1 per line).
