Senior C# Software Engineer

Location: US Remote (EST) | Experience: 8+ Years

About the Role: We are looking for a highly skilled and hands-on Senior C# Software Engineer to design, build, and maintain scalable, high-performance applications. Engineer will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver robust software solutions and mentor junior engineers.

Qualifications:

  • 8+ years of professional experience in C# and.NET development
  • Strong hands-on experience with .NET Core, ASP.NET Core, and Entity Framework Core
  • Proficiency in OOP, design patterns, and SOLID principles
  • Experience with microservices architecture and distributed systems
  • Solid understanding of SQL and relational databases; experience with ORMs
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks such as xUnit, NUnit, or MSTest
  • Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines (Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins)
  • Proficiency with Git and version control best practices
  • Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration with Kubernetes

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, develop, and maintain complex applications using C# and.NET
  • Build and consume RESTful APIs and microservices
  • Work with architects to define system design and technical direction
  • Write clean, testable, and well-documented code with strong adherence to SOLID principles
  • Perform code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers
  • Optimize application performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement solutions
  • Work within Agile/Scrum teams and contribute to sprint planning, estimation, and retrospective
