Job DescriptionInterprets, recommends, and complies with environmental, health and safety regulations; manages the site's DOD 4145 Contractor Explosive Program; ensures DMCA 8201 Contractor Safety requirements and company policies are maintained; and assists in planning for changes in physical facilities to meet new environmental requirements.Develops, evaluates, and prepares contracts for licensed hazardous waste disposal firms; ensures proper waste handling and disposal; writes and updates environmental and spill‑control manuals and procedures; prepares environmental program reports and assists with permits, reporting, renewals, inspections and audits; supports site Hazardous Materials, Laser Safety, Radiation Safety programs and provides input to federal and state regulators through trade associations and industry groups for the writing and revision of regulations.LocationGreenville, SCWhat's In It For YouFrom onsite to remote, we offer flexible work schedules and comprehensive benefits investing in your future and security.Who You AreYou are a multi‑faceted teammate able to communicate and function effectively on an engineering team to create a collaborative environment that allows for the establishment of mission goals.
