Keep reading.Responsibilities Review customer RFPs, drawings, control documentation and other applicable specifications to determine requirements and/or feasibility of a given design or projectParticipate in the new project evaluation process by developing a concept, gathering cost data from historical records for pricing purposes, and make recommendations on proceeding or declining a project based on a risk/benefit analysisLiaise with management, sales and engineering during concept developmentPrepare preliminary design proposal(s) including concept layout drawings using AutoCAD and prepare proposal documentation in conjunction with the sales teamInteract with customers for the purpose of defining scope, obtaining specifications pertinent to the project and clarifying questions they may have with the proposal if necessary in conjunction with sales staffInteract with vendors concerning part and/or assembly quotations required for the estimateIdentify and understand competitive equipmentTravel to customer sites for project evaluation. This may include measuring to define ranges and interaction with both factory and corporate staffWork with marketing to develop product launches, sales support, educational and promotional materialsAssist with pricing strategy and create price lists, assist with vendor communication in price negotiationsMonitor quality issues and resolve vendor related problemsMaintain up-to-date sales and technical resourcesBenefits There's no monopoly on innovative ideas or limits to how far you can advance with our team.
