Job Description Job Description Job Title:Maintenance TechnicianLocation:Greer, South Carolina,29650Work Schedule: Monday to Thursday, 3 PM to 1 AMPay rate: USD $ 22.20Contract: 4-month duration (temp to hire)Core Responsibilities: Troubleshoot and repair production equipment promptly, thoroughly, and cost-effectivelyConduct preventive maintenance checks on assigned equipment and report findingsComplete work orders and update the maintenance tracking systemIdentify/correct electrical issues, including drives and PLCsEnsure machine productivity and quality after repairs, changeovers, and downtimeMaintain inventory of repair equipment and suppliesAddress and rectify any immediate safety concerns for employeesMaintain the building's safety and appearance, including utilities, ventilation, housekeeping, and plumbingCommunicate current and potential issues with group leaders/maintenance managerPerform welding (MIG and/or arc) as requiredOperate a forklift (training provided if needed)Perform other related duties as assignedQualifications: High school diploma or GED preferred (not required); certifications preferred but not required1–3 years of industrial maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment, or an equivalent combination of experience and trainingMust understand and interpret gauges, tools, and instruments related to product quality and equipment repairGood working knowledge of electricity and troubleshootingExperience with PLCs and drives preferredWelding experience (MIG and/or arc) requiredForklift operation experience requiredKey Competencies: Safety & SecurityExperienceDetail OrientationTime ManagementProblem SolvingCommunicationTeamworkAdditional Information: PPE: Steel-toed boots required; additional PPE provided on site according to the taskReasonable accommodations available for qualified individuals with disabilitiesAs part of our promise to talent, Kelly supports those who work with us through a variety of benefits, perks, and work-related resources.
