Job Description Job Description Job Description: Project CoordinatorLocation: NC/SCEmployment Type: Full-TimeReports To: Operations ManagerOverviewVayan Group is seeking a Project Coordinator to support quality and containment projects at our Tier 1 NC/SC location. This role is ideal for someone with strong mechanical aptitude, experience in rework or containment, and a hands-on approach to project coordination. The Project Coordinator will oversee daily operations, ensure quality standards are met, and support site launches and small team activities.This role will be stationed in Gray Court SC but travel around NC/SC periodically.Key ResponsibilitiesCoordinate and oversee quality and containment activities on-site.Support mechanical rework operations and ensure adherence to specifications.Communicate effectively with customers, supervisors, and inspectors to maintain workflow and resolve issues.Ensure project documentation, reports, and quality records are accurate and timely.Assist with site launch activities, including setup, training, and process validation.Provide direction and support to small teams to achieve project goals.Maintain flexibility to meet production demands, including overtime and weekend work as needed.RequirementsMinimum 2 years of experience in Quality and Containment supervisory roles.Perform detailed dimensional inspections using precision tools such as calipers, pin gauges, micrometers, and height gages .Mechanical or Rework experience required.Engineering background or education preferred (not required).Strong problem-solving, organization, and communication skills.Must be flexible to work varying hours, overtime, and weekends as needed.Education· Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering , Manufacturing Engineering, Quality Engineering, or a related engineering or technical field. Or equivalent 2-7 years' experience.
