Description:Primary responsibilities of this position will be to complete electrical and mechanical assembly of controls and components. ENTRON Controls supplies a full line of microprocessor-based, solid-state controls for industrial welding applications.Details of the position include:Assembly of electrical and mechanical devices comprising a complete Weld Control as well as sub assemblies for those controls.Measuring, cutting, crimping, and soldering of wire harnessesFollowing engineering drawings and SOPsThe use of various hand and power tools, as well as measurement equipment to include micrometers, and calipersOccasional shearing, sawing, drilling, punching, or tapping holes in sheet metalMaintain clean and safe work areaManage time effectively and efficientlyENTRON Controls supplies a full line of microprocessor-based, solid-state controls for industrial welding applications.. Controls are produced at our 20,000 sq/ft climate-controlled facility.ENTRON Controls is an established Family-owned growing company looking for employees with a solid work ethic and willingness to learn. Requirements:Education:High school or equivalent (Preferred)Experience:Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fieldHigh level knowledge and experience with hand and power toolsMinimum 2 years' experience in electro-mechanical assembly and/or manufacturing.Strong mechanical/electrical/electronic aptitudeWillingness and ability to learn new skills on the jobAbility to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawingsProblem-solving skills with great attention to detailDesire to multitask in a fast-paced, often-changing environmentAbility to occasionally lift up to 100 lbsThis Job Is Ideal for Someone Who Is:Dependable -- more reliable than spontaneousDetail-oriented -- would rather focus on the details of work than the bigger pictureAutonomous/Independent -- enjoys working with little direction in a small company work environment
