Job Title: Assistant Civil Designer
Location: Greenville, SC (On-site)

Job Summary: We seek motivated professionals to join our team in a pivotal design support position. Our team values accuracy, communication, and technical skill to ensure seamless planning and production for civil engineering projects.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in various phases of planning, proposal preparation, site evaluations, analytical designs, specifications, and preparation of construction and environmental documentation as part of a project team.
• Develop detailed structural models using Revit and generate comprehensive construction drawing sets, including plans, sections, and details.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, and project teams to identify and resolve BIM model conflicts while ensuring compliance with company and industry standards.
• Interpret sketches, markups, and design calculations from engineers to produce accurate drawings and maintain well-organized project documents.

Required:

• Bachelor s degree in drafting technology or a related field and 2 years of related experience, or Associate degree and 3 years of related experience, or 4 years of progressive detailing and design experience.
• Basic understanding of design software, including AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, and Excel, for developing design deliverables.
• Foundational knowledge in civil design theory and practices, including site design, land development, storm drainage, utility layout, sediment and erosion control, and related calculations.
• Strong communication, analytical, and collaborative skills with a proven ability to work effectively in multi-discipline project teams and deliver accurate project documentation.
