Job Description Job Description Salary: $20-$28 per hour plus incentivesKey Responsibilities:Electrical Systems:Diagnose and troubleshoot trailer electrical systemsInstall and repair lighting systems, including wiring and bracketsReplace and wire breakaway kits and junction boxesInstall tarp kits, wireless remote systems, vents, E-tracks, and spare tire mountsStructural & Fabrication:Replace steel decking, plywood, and install rubber flooringWeld and replace trailer jacksFabricate and weld components including D-rings, toolboxes, hinges, safety chains,fenders, winch plates, and moreInstall A-frame toolboxes and couplersSuspension & Axles:Inspect, service, and replace suspension systemsReplace air ride valves, air compressors, axles, brakes, drums, magnets, seals, andbearingsPerform bearing repacks and axle oil changesHydraulic Systems:Diagnose and repair hydraulic issuesReplace hydraulic cylinders, pumps, valves, and hosesQualifications:Required:24 years of experience in trailer repair, fabrication, or a related mechanical tradeProficiency in MIG welding and fabrication techniquesStrong diagnostic skills in electrical and hydraulic systemsWorking knowledge of suspension, brake, and axle systemsAbility to read wiring diagrams and technical drawingsFamiliarity with OSHA regulations and safe shop practicesAbility to lift up to 150 lbs and work in physically demanding conditions (standing,kneeling, bending, etc.)Preferred:Welding certification (preferred but not required)Valid drivers licenseForklift operation experienceWork Environment:Primarily shop-based with occasional outdoor workMust be comfortable working in varying weather conditions and environmentsSchedule:MondayFriday, 8:00 AM 5:00 PM; Saturday 8:00 AM 12:00 PM (as needed)
