For the right candidate with a great work ethic and a passion for food, we are happy to provide on-the-job training.What You'll DoThe Craft: Prepare, cut, and trim meat (beef, poultry, pork) to store standards and customer specifications.Merchandising: Maintain a beautiful, clean, and fully stocked meat case that showcases our premium products.Customer Service: Act as an expert for our shoppers—giving advice on different cuts, cooking temperatures, and meal prep ideas.Safety & Sanitation: Maintain a spotless workspace. You'll follow all food safety protocols (HACCP) and keep equipment like saws and grinders in top shape.Inventory Management: Assist with receiving deliveries, checking for freshness, and ensuring proper labeling and rotation.What We're Looking ForExperience: Previous experience in a meat department or commercial kitchen is a plus, but not required if you have the right attitude and a willingness to learn.Knife Skills: Comfortable working with sharp tools and heavy machinery.Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for long periods and work in a cold (refrigerated) environment.
