Job Description Job DescriptionFIELD DIESEL TECHNICIANLocations: Greenville, SC | Spartanburg, SC | Charlotte, NC | Hickory, NCCompany: National Fleet ManagementLooking for something different than the typical shop job?This opportunity is built for technicians who prefer working on the road, solving problems in real time, and having more control over how they work and earn.About Us National Fleet Management is a rapidly growing heavy-duty truck service provider across the Southeast.35+ mobile service units currently operating in 9 statesProjected growth to 50+ trucks within the next yearWe are focused on building a mobile-first service operation—and we're looking for skilled technicians to grow with us.Position Overview We are seeking experienced Field Diesel Technicians to support our expanding field service operations.This role is ideal for individuals who:Enjoy working independentlyPrefer a field-based environment over a traditional shopAre confident handling roadside service calls and on-site repairsTechnicians will be assigned a fully equipped service truck and dispatched to customer locations for diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.Compensation Structure This position follows a performance-based pay model (flat rate).$32 – $45+ per hour depending on experience and productivityHigh-performing technicians regularly exceed base earnings (110% – 185%)Earnings directly tied to efficiency, skill level, and outputPerformance-based pay stability support availableKey Responsibilities Perform roadside service and on-location repairsDiagnose and repair diesel engines and related componentsComplete preventative maintenance services in the fieldAccurately document repairs, labor, and service detailsMaintain assigned service vehicle and parts inventoryProvide professional, customer-focused service at each job siteQualifications Previous diesel technician experience (mobile service experience a plus)Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skillsAbility to work independently and manage workload effectivelyWillingness to travel within a designated service areaValid driver's license required (CDL preferred)Dependable with strong time management skillsWhy Join Our Mobile Team?
