As part of our continued growth, we recently completed a 150,000 square foot facility addition to support future growth and operational capacity. We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our accounting team immediately.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys a dynamic environment where they can contribute across multiple areas of accounting while continuing to grow professionally. We value initiative, collaboration, and adaptability, and we offer flexibility within the role to align responsibilities with an individual's strengths and experience.Position SummaryThis position will support a variety of accounting and financial reporting functions within the organization. This role is ideal for an accounting professional who is comfortable handling core accounting responsibilities while also contributing to process improvements and special projects as the company continues to grow.This is a fully in-office position and requires on-site presence five days per week. Remote or hybrid work arrangements are not available for this role.The position will work closely with members of the accounting and operations teams and will play an important role in maintaining accurate financial records and supporting month-end and year-end activities.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and maintain journal entries, account reconciliations, and supporting schedulesAssist with monthly and annual close processesAnalyze financial data and investigate account variancesSupport accounts payable, accounts receivable, and fixed asset accounting activities as neededAssist with audit preparation and documentation requestsParticipate in process improvement initiatives and help identify opportunities for increased efficiencyCollaborate with cross-functional departments to support operational and financial objectivesPrepare reports and assist with ad hoc financial analysis and special projectsMaintain compliance with company policies and accounting standardsQualificationsAssociates or Bachelor's degree in Accounting or FinanceStrong mathematical and Microsoft Excel skillsStrong understanding of general accounting principlesSolid understanding of general business operationsExcellent analytical, organizational, and communication skillsAbility to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environmentHighly organized with a strong attention to detailSelf-motivated with a willingness to take ownership and adapt as business needs evolveAbility to work efficiently to meet deadlinesStrong understanding of importance of confidentiality5+ years of accounting experience preferredWhat We OfferOpportunity to join a well-established and financially stable companyCollaborative team environment with leadership visibilityA role with variety, growth potential, and flexibility based on experience and strengthsHighly competitive benefits packageImmediate opportunity to make an impact within a growing organizationCompensation for this position is negotiable and will be based on experience, qualifications, and overall fit for the role.
