Job Description Job Description Location: Greenville, SCShift: DaysJob SummarySeeking a skilled and detail-oriented Panel Builder to assemble, wire, and troubleshoot industrial electrical control panels for custom automation equipment. This role works closely with engineering and machine build teams to support the construction of automated manufacturing systems used across a variety of industries including automotive, aerospace, medical, and industrial manufacturing. The ideal candidate has strong electrical aptitude, can read schematics, and takes pride in building high-quality control systems.ResponsibilitiesBuild and wire industrial electrical control panels from electrical schematics, layout drawings, and bills of materialsInstall and terminate components including PLCs, relays, power supplies, breakers, sensors, drives, and terminal blocksRoute and label wiring according to company and customer standardsPerform point-to-point wiring and panel assembly for custom automation equipmentRead and interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and assembly drawingsTroubleshoot electrical systems and identify wiring or component issuesAssist with machine wiring, equipment startup, and system testingWork closely with Controls Engineers and Machine Builders during assembly and debug phasesMaintain organized documentation and ensure builds meet quality and safety standardsSupport continuous improvement efforts within the build and assembly processMaintain a clean and safe work environmentQualificationsHigh school diploma or GED required; technical training or electrical certification preferred2+ years of panel building, industrial electrical, or automation assembly experience preferredAbility to read and interpret electrical schematics and wiring diagramsExperience with industrial control components, PLC systems, VFDs, sensors, and motor controlsFamiliarity with hand tools, power tools, multimeters, wire crimpers, and electrical testing equipmentStrong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skillsAbility to work independently and within a team environmentStrong attention to detail and craftsmanshipAbility to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periodsWillingness to assist with machine installation or occasional travel if neededPreferred SkillsExperience in factory automation or custom machine buildingKnowledge of UL508A, NEC, or industrial electrical standardsExperience wiring pneumatic devices, robotics, or motion control systemsAbility to troubleshoot automated equipment during startup and testing Powered by JazzHRNZfNA1AzjG
