WFS has borrowing capacity to meet the daily cash needs of new business development, new award support, and operational working capital. WFS is well-versed in federal contract compliance and providing outstanding support services.ResponsibilitiesProvide technical direction to assigned engineersConduct construction document reviews as requiredPlan, organize, and coordinate process / mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team / design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startupPrepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development.Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment designGenerate and review the accuracy of design / evaluation calculations, and specificationsFamiliarity with computer aided drafting applications is requiredBasic Job RequirementsMust be a U.S. Citizen.Bachelor of Science in Chemical Engineering with a minimum of three (3) years of experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineeringMust have a working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering designProfessional Engineer License preferred, but not requiredDisclaimer: This job description indicates in general the nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other essential functions (as covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act) expected of an incumbent.
