Your Key Responsibilities

Lead core execution for the Application Engineer-Fuel Injectors role across day to day priorities, technical problem solving, and cross functional coordination. Partner with internal stakeholders, vendors, and production teams to move work from planning into successful delivery. Improve process stability, quality, and throughput through disciplined analysis and practical execution. Support issue resolution, technical decision making, and continuous improvement activity across the function. Document results clearly and communicate progress, risks, and recommendations to the broader team. Contribute hands-on expertise in support of schedule, quality, and business objectives.

What You Bring to the Role

General Scope The Port Fuel Injection (PFI) Applications Engineer is responsible for application-level engineering support of fuel injection products, ensuring proper performance, validation, and issue resolution throughout the product lifecycle. This role serves as a technical interface between engineering, testing, manufacturing, quality, and supply chain functions, with strong emphasis on problem solving, documentation, and cross-functional coordination. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in mechanical, Electrical, Automotive Engineering, or related field 5 + years' Experience in application engineering, product support, or validation engineering Experience involving design, validation, and manufacturing process of DIESEL engine Common Rail diesel fuel injector: automotive diesel fuel injection systems: performance of root cause analyses of diesel fuel system failures and design of diesel injector internal components with 3D SolidWorks and generation of engineering drawings using GD&T. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
