Senior Process Engineer

Per Diem: $178.00

Hours: Full Time - 40 hours/week estimated, depending on project needs, 50 hours/week max.

Position Details:

• Conduct construction document reviews as required
• Plan, organize, and coordinate process / mechanical engineering and multi-disciplined team / design projects while engaged in the planning, design and construction phases of engineering projects including project startup
• Prepare and review calculations and specifications relating to Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) development
• Demonstrate design experience in areas such as, but not limited to mechanical systems and equipment design
• Generate and review the accuracy of design / evaluation calculations, and specifications.
• Familiarity with computer aided drafting applications is required

Education Requirements:

• Must be a U.S. Citizen.
• Bachelor of Science in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering with a minimum of ten (10) years of experience (nuclear preferred) in design, estimating, specification preparation, construction document preparation, and related phases of engineering.
• Must have a working knowledge of federal (including Department of Energy Orders), state, and local codes and standards applicable to mechanical engineering design.
• Professional Engineer License preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Job duties may include periodic physical duties. Most job duties will require the ability to work at a desk - sitting/standing in a stationary position for extended periods of time, visual acuity for computer work, etc.
